Responsibilities:

  • Plan menu options according to family and guest needs
  • Create healthy, fresh, seasonal meals
  • Shop for all food and ingredients
  • Prepare food for cooking and serving
  • Casual to formal dinner parties
  • Serve and clean up after meals
  • Stock, organize, and clean kitchen, refrigerator and cooking utensils
  • Store supplies and goods in kitchen/storage areas
  • Compensation commensurate with experience

Requirements:

  • Own reliable transportation
  • Must be talented at multi-tasking and be able to work quickly
  • Fully knowledgeable in preparing and cooking a wide range of healthy cuisine
  • Knowledgeable of current nutrition and food trends
  • Observe high standards of health and hygiene in preparing, cooking and storing food
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Ability to interact in a friendly, professional manner with the family and other household staff
